Part-Time 3D Modeling Summer Internship

• This is a part-time, paid internship that must be performed at the company offices located in Reedsville, PA.
• This is NOT a remote work position.
• There is no housing, temporary living, or relocation allowance offered by the company.

About Us:

Cignal ( is an AI startup located in Reedsville, PA, a 30-minute drive from State College, PA ( Our vision platforms accelerate operational deployments of AI to combat terrorism, narcotics trafficking, and transnational criminal activity at U.S. airports, borders, and ports.

What We Do:

We're developing cutting-edge tools for creating and manipulating 3D models in Cignal Engine, our multi-modal AI training ground for defense and security operations. Our research focuses on innovative techniques for generating 3D shapes, materials, and textures, opening up new possibilities for artists and designers. 

You Will:

• Work directly with our team to build and design digital assets and inventory that are loaded in our simulated environment.
• Contribute to the development of our 3D modeling platform, potentially including scripting or tool integration.
• Work with 3D modeling software like Blender (or similar tools).
• Learn about and apply techniques for generating and manipulating 3D shapes, materials, and textures.
• Collaborate with our team on research and development efforts.

You Have:

• A strong interest in 3D modeling, voxel art, digital art, etc.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Enthusiasm for hands-on creative and technical work.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python).
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts.
• Artistic skills and portfolio (if applicable).
• Experience with rendering engines and techniques.
• Familiarity with game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.) or VR/AR development.
