Metro Indiana High Volume Import General Manager Needed

Central Indiana Dealer Group is seeking a proven and highly motivated General Manager to lead a high volume import dealership to new heights of success!

The General Manager is the leader of the dealership, overseeing New and Used Sales, Financial Services, and After-Sales, including Service and Parts. This role drives the performance of the dealership by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent and creating an exceptional buying and ownership experience for customers.

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, motivate, train, and develop a high-performing team across sales, service, and administrative departments.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that aligns with company values and goals.

Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee daily dealership operations, including inventory management, sales processes, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, including factory and regulatory requirements.

Financial Performance:

  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve profitability targets.
  • Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive decision-making and operational improvements.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Develop and execute sales and service strategies to achieve revenue goals and market share growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create and implement effective promotional campaigns and community outreach initiatives.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards and address any customer concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a General Manager in automotive retail.  IMPORT EXPERIENCE A PLUS!
  • Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Experience and desire to work with technology.
  • Must be able to pass background, drug screen and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable, safe driving record.
