Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, detail-oriented and passionate communicator to join our Communications team as a Communications Officer. This role involves assisting the Head of Communications for the Americas in implementing internal and external communications strategies and acting as a strategic advisor for our business lines. The ideal candidate should be fluent in French, excel in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong writing and problem-solving skills.

Based in New York, the role covers the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities

Event and Client Communications

• Assist with organizing regional internal events such as staff town halls, management meetings, and client events.
• Liaise with partners to ensure successful event execution.
• Prepare detailed proposals including cost estimates and timelines.
• Manage event websites and stakeholder communications.
• Provide audio/visual support as needed.

Benchmarking Exercises

• Support business lines in benchmarking initiatives by researching industry standards.

Advertising

• Assist business lines with marketing campaigns and advertorials.

Marketing and PR

• Collaborate with Head Office on external marketing and PR materials.

Client Gift Catalogue

• Manage the gift catalogue including vendor relations and item distribution.

Information and Press Relations

• Draft and edit internal announcements to align with company strategies.
• Maintain content for internal communication platforms.
• Coordinate internal communications and employee engagement strategies.
• Develop materials for senior management's strategic initiatives.

Social Media

• Coordinate with Head Office on external content publication.

Candidate Criteria

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

Experience

• 3-5 years of applicable experience with a focus on corporate communications.
• Project management and content creation experience.
• Excellent writing skills in English and French.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Salary Range

$90k - $100k
