The Transition Medicine Team in the Department of Medicine is seeking an entry-level Medical Assistant to help support the clinical operation within the department. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, clinical tasks, triaging calls, completing faxes or medical forms, completing prior authorizations, various point of care testing (EKG, urine dip stick, specimen collection, etc.), and assisting providers in minor in office procedures.
This position is an outpatient position located at the McNair Campus with a general work schedule of Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
