Niceville, FL, USA | Full Time Job Title: Protocol Specialist Location: Eglin AFB, Niceville, FL (Hybrid) Canvas provides engineering services and technical solutions for customers in federal and commercial markets. Duties: Assist the Protocol Officer in coordinating and managing official visits, events, and ceremonies. Conduct research and provide analysis on protocol matters. Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and other documents for senior officials. Maintain a comprehensive database of protocol-related information. Coordinate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless execution of protocol activities. Participate in protocol-related meetings and provide specific input to said matters. Provide support to the Protocol Officer in research of budget and resources. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. * Experience may be substituted for education with customer concurrence. A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Experience or training with international relations, public administration, or related field. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, while demonstrating professionalism and diplomacy in all interactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management. Understanding of protocol guidelines and best practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with high standards of quality. Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Other Essential Job Functions: Candidate must be willing to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
